Sagamok learning centre undertaking solar, energy efficiency renovation project

Nearly 40 years after its establishment, the Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik education facility is being upgraded to help make it energy efficient and accessible. “The Sagamok Anishnawbek are very pleased to be participating in this Lifelong Learning Centre Solar Array, Energy Efficiency and Inclusivity Renovation Project,” said Chief Angus Toulouse, Sagamok Anishnawbek. “This $2,200,000 project is in line and consistent with our traditional values, customs and beliefs [...]”.
