Upgrades will help Joe Mavrinac reduce emissions by 177 tonnes

The Joe Mavrinac Community Complex in Kirkland Lake, Ont., is on its way to becoming more energy-efficient and accessible, thanks to $2.3 million in funding from Green and Inclusive Community Buildings (GICB) program, and another $598,598 from the Town of Kirkland Lake.


Schneider’s new Smart Buildings division offers pathways to decarbonization, continuous building improvement

In a move to deliver solutions and services “that support building owners and operators in achieving their decarbonization and sustainability goals”, Schneider Electric Canada is rejigging its Digital Buildings business. “Through our Smart Buildings division in Canada, we’re set to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort,” said Emily Heitman, president, Schneider Electric Canada.
