Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE), utility on-bill financing, and third-party lending partnerships are just some examples of financing models used by municipalities delivering residential energy programming.


CBHCC seeks input on embodied GHG emissions in National Model Codes

The proposed 2025 edition of the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB) and National Building Code of Canada (NBC) will also include an objective to address GHG emissions alongside technical requirements related to operational GHG emissions. The Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes is seeking input from stakeholders, experts, code users, and the general public on the first phase of its draft policy direction.
