The COVID-19 pandemic has had a largescale impact on both demand and supply within the electronics industry, underscoring the need for stronger supply chains. EP&T has assembled a virtual event to address the many issues faced by Canada’s electronics designers and engineers.
This virtual event will include formal presentations by industry leaders on our supply chain. Leading global industry analyst Dale Ford of the Electronics Component Industry Association (ECIA) will provide insights to current component crisis areas, while attempting to paint a picture of future days and months ahead. As well, Paul Romano, COO of electronic component sourcing specialists Fusion Worldwide, will discuss some of the major issues impacting the distribution and how we manage current shortages, second sourcing and how to succeed during the pandemic.
A discussion panel has also been assembled to create open discussion among varied members of the electronics supply chain in Canada. Industry panel guests include Mark Wood, CEO of Microart Services Inc., a Markham Ontario-based contract electronics manufacturer (CEM); Titu Botos, CEO of NeuronicWorks Inc., a Toronto-based electronic design house; Mauro Salomao, marketing & business development manager for Canada at Mouser Electronics, a global distributor of electronic components.
Join EP&T magazine on October 8, 2020 at 2:00pm EDT as we bring industry thought leaders together in a FREE virtual summit focused on exploring the disruptive nature of the COVID-19 pandemic on electronics supply chain in Canada, with some conversation and solutions to take away.
