EP&T Magazine will produce an industry report on the electronics engineering and design sector for Canada. Based on the results of a nationwide survey of electronic engineers and designers, EP&T will reveal where engineering professionals stand with respect to the kinds of creations, challenges, and future developments they are occupied with.
From the rapid advancements being made in areas such as IoT, AI and Medical Electronics, EP&T’s Industry Report will track the emerging design markets, while highlighting those in decline. Our survey results will also help readers gain an understanding of where the designer hotspots exist geographically in Canada. Which design disciplines are increasing in importance – is it software, hardware or embedded firmware. Is diversity on the rise within the engineering ranks? While we are at it, we will aim to gain a better understanding of the impact Covid-19 has had on the design cycle countrywide, as supply chains remain under component allocation pressures. Our results will reveal which certification & compliance requirements have been the most challenging, along with establishing a manufacturing partner.
Be sure to be a part of this information sharing opportunity and take the survey!
