Warm-edge technology, in double or triple glazing, is the low conductivity edge seal system used to separate insulating glass panes. Warm-edge spacer systems possess lower thermal conductivity values than traditional metal spacer bars, resulting in superior thermal performance.
EnerEDGE® is a pre-desiccated, ready-to-apply, cellular silicone warm-edge spacer that is suitable for a wide range of IG constructions in fenestration applications. EnerEDGE spacers are inset and applied to a glass lite’s perimeter to enable fabrication of dual and triple-glazed IG units in conjunction with a quality applied perimeter sealant such as Tremco’s new EnerSEAL™ 332 hot melt sealant.
