FGIA receives funding to update three Canadian glass standards

The Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) is pleased to announce the recent funding approval for the updating of three Canadian glass standards made possible through the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB), a federal government organization offering comprehensive standards development.

Next version of NAFS open for public review

Fenestration Canada is reporting that a draft of the next version of the North American Fenestration Standard is available for public review at the CSA website. CSA will collect comments on the standard until Sept. 4 after which they will be reviewed by the development committee for consideration before drafting the final version.


Federal rebate now available for medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles

The Government of Canada announced a $547.5 million funding program for the Incentives for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicles (iMHZEV). The funding program started on July 11 and will give Canadian organizations, companies, provinces, territories and municipalities incentives to purchase/lease eligible MHZEVs.
