5 Fast Facts about the FDM Mobile Data System (MDS)

“We have always recognized the need for mental health support for First Responders in Canada. We are here to make a difference.” Scott Maxwell, Executive Director, Wounded Warriors Canada

Wounded Warriors Canada is a national mental health charity whose mission is to honour and support Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and their families.

We provide a wide range of programs and services for individual members and families affected by Operational Stress Injuries. As a privately funded charity, the organization is made possible thanks to the care, compassion and generosity of Canadians and Canadian businesses from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

We currently have the following programs available to First Reponders on a first-come, first-serve basis. The programs are available at no cost.

PROGRAMS OFFERED

  • WWC Peer Support and Family Assistance Fund
  • Couples Based PTSD Equine Therapy
  • COPE (Couples Overcoming PTSD Everyday)
