What is a Two-Tensioned Rope System?

A Two-Tensioned Rope System shares the load between two ropes, both under tension. Each system is capable of functioning as both main line or back up line. The MAESTRO is an excellent device for this system because of its hauling efficiency and ability to handle heavy loads. The MAESTRO can also easily convert from hauling to lowering mode for maximum efficiency.

The MAESTRO is a technical rescue descender with an integrated progress-capture pulley for heavy loads, available in Small (10.5-11.5mm) and Large (12.5-13mm).		The EXO AP HOOK is a personal escape system with an anchor hook adapted for locations where the possibility of finding an anchor point is uncertain.
