Firefighters today are operating in a different environment than in the past. Higher heat release rates, synthetic fuels and mishandling bunker gear can lead to severe burns and injuries in critical situations. This can psychologically, physically and financially impact the team. Learn how to protect yourself and your team at the 3rd Annual Canadian Burn Symposium. Experts will share best practices for burn care in emergency situations, managing PTSD, and resources for dealing with trauma in a special firefighter stream of the conference.
