FFIC This Week: Firefighter health research, Sudbury chief speaks out, opioid fatalities still high

In today’s episode of Fire Fighting in Canada This Week, University of Alberta researchers receive a grant to examine effects of the Fort McMurray wildfire on firefighters’ health, Sudbury’s fire chief says the city needs to improve fire service, and the number of opioid overdose deaths in British Columbia has declined since December, but fatalities are still at epidemic levels.
