Provincial police have laid two more sexual assault charges against former Kingsville fire chief Bob Kissner. Kissner now faces 17 charges including 11 counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual exploitation and one count of sexual interference in relation to multiple victims.

Criminal accusations have been stayed against sixty-three firefighters who were charged in connection with the ransacking of Montreal city hall three summers. A Crown prosecutor told Quebec Court Judge Lori Renee Weitzman that in exchange for the stay of proceedings, each person charged has agreed to pay fines totalling more than $71,000.

After just six months on the job, the chief in Plympton-Wyoming, Ont., is on indefinite leave. Sources told Blackburn News that firefighters discovered a video camera in the radio dispatch room of the Wyoming fire hall. Chief Administrative Officer Carolyn Tripp confirms Steve Clemens' role is being filled by Camlachie station chief Scott Jordan.
