Department wants to opt out of naloxone program

In a report to council, the fire department in Elizabethtown-Kitley says it has unanimously decided it does not want to participate in the Ontario Naloxone Program at this time. The report was set to be discussed by council on Monday.


Search continues for missing Toronto firefighter

The Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA), which runs Whiteface Mountain in upstate New York, has posted missing person posters throughout the ski centre, as a search continued Sunday for a Toronto firefighter who went missing last week.


Firefighter creates company to give back to colleagues

Grande Prairie, Alta., firefighter Calorado Hudkins created True Heroes Coffee Company in 2017 to help raise money for first responders struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
