Reports says deadly house fire showed Oshawa Fire Services understaffed

A report on a January fire that killed four people in Oshawa, Ont., has outlined several deficiencies within the Oshawa Fire Services (OFS), including understaffing and makes recommendations to prevent future tragedies like it.

One first responder was treated for smoke inhalation after an early morning fire consumed an apartment building in downtown Yellowknife last week destroying the homes of 33 families.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service had its hands full Monday morning with reports of an explosion and fire at the Inkster industrial park.
