Fire dispatch to be consolidated across Waterloo Region

The Ontario cities of Cambridge and Kitchener announced fire services will be combined in a single service across Waterloo Region.


Stipends available for fire and sprinkler burn demonstrations

The Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Canada (HFSC) is awarding stipends to 20 qualifying fire departments that demonstrate a plan to conduct a community event featuring a side-by-side fire and sprinkler burn demonstration.


Registration for 2019 Career Expo now open

The 2019 fire, security and police career expo and job fair is being held in Mississauga, Ont., on Thursday, March 7 for those who are looking to get into the various industries. Pass this on to anyone you know who may be interested in a career in either the fire, police or security industries.
