Five members of Stratford Fire Department test positive for COVID-19

Five members of the Stratford Fire Department in Ontario have tested positive for COVID-19, but the city says service levels and public safety will be maintained. The City of Stratford and the Stratford Fire Department are working closely with Huron Perth public health to manage the outbreak.

Toronto Fire eyes growth in 2021

Toronto Fire Services, hampered by an ongoing staffing shortage and an unusually busy year, is said to be in urgent need of additional funding as the city begins its budget process for 2021. City officials and firefighters say a continuation of the status quo means the service could experience further difficulties responding to calls and meeting its typical standards. CBC News reports.
