Yukon increasing volunteer firefighter honorarium

The honorarium for volunteer firefighters in unincorporated communities across the Yukon has increased to $30.74 per hour, up from $22 per hour.


Vancouver deputy fire chief wins multiple awards for OHS initiatives

Acting Deputy Fire Chief Bryden Pelletier, who oversees occupational health, safety, wellness and special projects for Vancouver Fire Rescue, was awarded the OHS Rising Star and OHS Professional of the Year awards by OHS Canada, as well as being selected for the Top 25 Under 40.
