Cevya^® fungicide contains hook technology that’s unlike the chemistry of any other fungicide. While most Group-3 chemistries repeatedly bind to the site of action, Cevya switches to a hook orientation, locking it to the site of action.

The unique isopropanol-azole unit allows the molecule to easily assume different conformations (bound or unbound). When Cevya docks onto the active site of C-4 demethylase of target fungi, it switches to the bound form which resembles a hook. It binds to the target enzyme up to 100 times more powerfully than conventional triazole fungicides. This leads to outstanding performance due to control of diseases that may have developed resistance to other chemistries.
