Stokes Seeds acquires Siegers Seed Company

Stokes Seeds has acquired Siegers Seed Company of Holland, Mich., effective Dec. 19, 2019. Stokes Seeds has retained the employees of Siegers Seed Company the newly combined organizations will do business under the Stokes Seeds brand.

Trish Jordan, public and industry affairs director with Bayer CropScience, is the new president of the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame, with Ted Menzies, a retired farmer from Claresholm, Alta., serving as vice-president.

Syngenta Canada launched Miravis, a lineup of five fungicide products. Two are of interest to fruit and vegetable growers and can be used in cucurbit and fruiting vegetables, and grapes.
