U of G launches free farm business management course

Free farm business management skills training, ranging from farm business planning to maintaining mental health, will be offered through a new, self-paced, virtual course being launched in January.


New governmental committee to assist affected P.E.I. potato farmers

The committee will be an important forum to exchange information and further develop strategies to address the issue, while minimizing impacts of potato wart on the P.E.I. potato sector.


GoodLeaf Farms builds vertical farm project in Calgary

The new farm will create about 70 skilled and unskilled job opportunities in the city and will serve as a focal point for partnerships with post-secondary schools in Canada’s west.
