AAFC invests in farmer-bred seed for organic and climate-resilient farming

The $750,000 in funding will be used by SeedChange for an enhanced Canadian seed system that is equipped to support the development and long-term competitiveness of farmer-bred vegetable varieties.


GOC invests in sustainable ag practices and clean tech in Quebec

Plum pox, also known as Sharka, infects stone fruit trees: plums, peaches, apricots and cherries. Once infected, the fruit discolours and falls from the tree prior to maturation.
