Quick Culture Tips
  • Temperature: Keep greenhouses at 21-27° F during the day and 13-18° C at night.
  • Soil: pH 5.8-6.2, electrical conductivity (EC) 1.0-1.5 mS/cm using the 2:1 extraction method.
  • Light: Full sun or at least 5,000 foot candles, 12+ hours of photoperiod supplemental lighting.
  • Fertilizer: Constant liquid feed at low levels of 100 to 150 ppm nitrogen.
  • Water: Allow plants to dry between ample waterings.
  • Watch for: Aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, root and crown rot. Apply a fungicide drench at transplant.
