It all starts with our multi-channel smart LED light fixture: it recreates the full spectrum of the Sun’s natural light. Each one is a fully programmable computer powered by artificial intelligence. Our fixture, and our SUN as a Service® (“SUNaaS”) cloud platform are designed to work together to provide optimal lighting for every crop; in effect, one cannot operate without the other. Together, they form a complete solution that enables the flexibility of unlimited multi-zone light management within a single greenhouse via light recipes tailored to each crop.
Since the fixtures are computers, they are individually programmable according to a light recipe. The SUNaaS cloud platform sends the chosen recipe to the fixture, which means that lighting is never interrupted in the event of internet connectivity issues. To grow multiple crops in a single greenhouse, a grower simply needs to create zones for each one so that they benefit from their own specific light recipe.
Thanks to our SUNaaS platform, a producer can even designate these zones with a simple click on the light deployment plan. In each zone, SUNaaS will modulate the lighting according to the ambient light in the greenhouse to meet the recipe target. Growers can even adjust their lighting in real time through their PC or smartphone.
