New zeolite efficacy trials for cannabis

A new zeolite efficacy trial has recently been announced for cannabis. The purpose is to see how different levels of zeolite affect the performance of two specialized growing mediums used in the industry, including changes in water consumption.

Engineered crops use 25% less water

By increasing the levels of one protein coded by one single gene, researchers from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have reduced crop water use by 25%. That is a substantial amount of water.
