WUR researchers grow cucumbers using artificial intelligence

In the Netherlands, Wageningen University Research is leading the AGROS project, which  aims to realize an "autonomous greenhouse". This greenhouse will attempt to achieve cultivation remotely controlled by artificial intelligence by utilizing "intelligent algorithms and advanced sensors" to monitor key crop characteristics and support the decisions made to achieve profitable cultivation.
