Canada investing $6.4 million in ag research, training at the University of Manitoba

Manitoba Advanced Education and Training is providing funding of up to $5.9 million in capital investment over 3 years and the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP) is providing $500,000 to create a new state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot facility that meets the future needs of Canadian farmers and industry.


Ontario invests $8-million in U of G agri-food research

For 2023, 47 research projects that enhance plant health and protection, protect animal health and welfare, drive economic development and promote environmental sustainability will be funded through the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, the unique collaboration between the University of Guelph and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).
