Fruit Logistica shortlists Canadian firm for technology award

The shortlist of nominees for the 2024 Fruit Logistica Innovation Award (FLIA) has been released. Canada’s Croptracker, Inc., has been nominated for the FLIA Technology award for their Crop Load Vision (CLV) app. The mobile app was designed for counting pre harvested fruit using only a mobile iOS device.


Sollum Technologies and Delphy Improvement Centre to advance greenhouse LED grow light solution and irrigation strategies

Sollum Technologies has announced that they are joining the LED pepper trial at Delphy Improvement Centre, a research and training facility located in The Netherlands, whose mission is to advance greenhouse horticulture techniques.


Buy BC supports success of farmers, producers and processors

The Buy BC Partnership Program is providing $2 million this year to help eligible applicants with marketing efforts using the Buy BC logo on products or promotional materials to help consumers easily identify those products as B.C. products.
