A message from Top Glass

Top Glass started with a conversation at an Ontario Glass and Metal Association event and has always been about providing great content and networking opportunities for Canada’s glazing contractors and glazed façade installers. Here’s what we’re offering this year to the people who put our cities under glass.

Dave Collins of Zeidler Architecture and Andrew Crosby of RJC are not just going to show pretty pictures of their Eaton Centre skylight refurbishment, they’re going to take you inside how it was done…right down to the incredible scaffolding solutions.

Do your clients still care how the finished product looks? We thought they might. Heather Sakai of Guardian will be on hand to refresh your knowledge of glass esthetics and how to choose the products that will achieve the colour, transparency and reflectivity you want.

Got any carpenters on staff? Luc Paquet of Unicel Architectural is going to discuss something we’ll be seeing more of in the years ahead – timber curtainwall. (Just joking, you don’t need a carpenter.)

The gas you burn in your trucks getting to the job site might soon be calculated into the environmental performance of the building you are working on. Think about that for a second, then come see Claudio Sacilotto of Novatech to hear about embodied carbon and discuss.

SEE YOU AT TOP GLASS
