Fenestration Manitoba becomes Fenestration Canada

Fenestration Canada is pleased to announce that an agreement has been finalized with Fenestration Manitoba, officially integrating the latter as a chapter of Fenestration Canada. Effective immediately, the management, branding, and event planning of Fenestration Manitoba will be directly overseen by Fenestration Canada.


Former CEO of Loewen Windows, Al Babiuk has passed away

On Sept. 9 2024, Loewen Windows shared on LinkedIn, that former CEO and president Al Babiuk passed away. Babiuk joined the company in 2003 as a chief financial officer and treasurer. By 2010, Babiuk became the president and CEO of Loewen. He remained CEO until his retirement in 2022. 


FGIA offering NAFS and insulating glass courses

The FGIA are now offering two topics from the upcoming third edition of FenestrationMasters, FGIA’s flagship education program, for purchase. The two modules cover: North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS), including the NAFS Canadian Supplement Fundamentals of Insulating Glass.
