The light-loving cannabis crop is being cultivated in some indoor facilities and greenhouses with light levels up to 1000 mmol/m2/s. However, when grown indoors or in a greenhouse, most light plans are set up to deliver light to only the highest part of the crop.

The introduction of light below the canopy allows light to spread more evenly throughout the entire plant to support better flower development.
