From Toronto, Ontario, Catarina Muia is the new editor of Grow Opportunity magazine. After completing two diplomas in journalism at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ont., Catarina went on to become an advertorial coordinator at Metroland Media Group. With a focus on B2B news in Burlington, Hamilton and Oakville, Catarina contributed to six publications, with responsibilities including writing, layout designing, and editing. After moving on from Metroland Media, Catarina became the editor of a stainless steel and corrosion-resistant materials publication, with an emphasis on the North, South and Central American markets. While running her publication, she also coordinated and successfully ran several technical conferences in the U.S.A. and Mexico.

In her new role of editor for Grow Opportunity magazine, Catarina looks forward to meeting with a number of industry professionals, learning about their experiences and expertise, and hearing how they have and are overcoming challenges to achieve success in the cannabis production industry.
