The Quebec Cannabis Industry Association has officially launched to represent Quebec's cannabis industry and to constructively and responsibly contribute to the sector's development, according to a release.

Canopy Growth plans to acquire Acreage Holdings

Smiths Falls, Ont.-based cannabis company Canopy Growth Corporation announced it is planning to acquire New York City-based cannabis company Acreage Holdings, Inc. in a US$3.4 billion deal.

World’s largest cannabis growing competition expands across North America

The Grow-Off cannabis growing competition announced its international expansion on Friday. In addition to its annual California and Colorado events, the grassroots company founded in Denver, Colo., will expand the competition to Oregon and Canada.
