Williams Lake First Nation makes historic cannabis deal with B.C. government

On Monday, Sept. 21. the Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) and province announced they entered into the first of its kind government-to-government agreement under Section 119 of the Cannabis Control Licensing Act.


B.C. unveils new cannabis sales program to help Indigenous growers

The B.C. government says it will launch three cannabis programs over the next two years to help small and Indigenous growers compete with larger rivals. The province says the changes were prompted by suggestions from growers, Indigenous leaders and other stakeholders.


OCS to open new distribution centre in Guelph, phase out Oakville facility

The provincial pot distributor says it is moving its warehouse to Guelph and will eventually close its current Oakville location. The new centre will support the growth of retail stores in the province, substantially increase the OCS product catalogue and further new innovations.
