First Indigenous-led cannabis gathering in B.C.

On Sept. 26 and 27, the Okanagan Cannabis Council hosted an event to share as much information as they can about the cannabis industry, from seed-to-sale.


Green Mountain begins contruction of Okanagan Valley facility

Medical cannabis company, Green Mountain Health Alliance Ltd., has secured $3.4 million in debt financing to complete Phase 1 construction of a 4,300 sq. ft. processing plant and 18,000 sq. ft. of covered growing area. The plan is to build a total enclosed growing area of 125,000 sq. ft. and processing facilities up to 29,000 sq. ft. 


Prices at Ontario Cannabis Store rival illicit market for the first time

A report released by the provincial cannabis distributor Oct. 1 revealed that between April and June, the average price of dried flower per gram on OCS.ca fell to $7.05, beating the average price of cannabis on sale through illegal mail-order cannabis sites, which reached $7.98.
