Aurora Cannabis says Q4 revenue down 45%

The Edmonton-based cannabis company said the health crisis pushed its net revenue from consumer sales to $19.5 million for the three months ended June 30, down from $35.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2020. But that didn’t appear to have the company’s executives worried.


Delta 9 named 7th top growing company

Delta 9 Cannabis Inc. is the 7th top growing Canadian company this year on The Globe and Mail Report on Business editorial rankings. Delta 9 CEO says that the company will continue to focus on growing its retail network throughout the country, as well as its online retail strategy.


Cannabis industry laments lack of progress on consumption lounges

Ontario looked like it would be the first to allow cannabis consumption spaces, when it solicited feedback from the public before the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline for that feedback passed more than a year ago, but a press secretary for attorney general Doug Downey said “no changes to the cannabis framework are expected at this time.”

Aurora Cannabis to close Edmonton facility, 8% of workforce impacted

The cannabis company announced it is closing its Aurora Polaris property in Edmonton as part of a plan to streamline its operations.
