The Solinst Tag Line is a simple tool primarily used to measure total well depth and the depths of backfill sand and bentonite layers during the construction of a well. The Tag Line uses a stainless steel weight connected to accurately marked cable or flat tape. The weight is clipped off, allowing the reel mounted cable or tape to be used for lowering bailers, pumps, or other devices to specific depths in a well.

This year’s Ontario Ground Water Association golf tournament drew a record 118 golfers! The annual event, held on Sept. 17, at Conestoga Golf and Country Club in Conestogo, Ont., raises funds toward scholarships for students in Fleming College’s drilling and blasting program. In addition to raising funds to assist the next generation of drillers, the tournament was a chance for members of the groundwater industry to catch up and share a few laughs.
