Ontario raises water-bottling fee to $500.71 per million litres

Ontario will charge water-bottling companies an additional $500 fee to take ground water. Beginning Aug. 1, water bottlers will pay $503.71 for every million litres of ground water taken, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change said in a news release.
