Group asks Ontario to protect ground water in Simcoe County

A delegation of Simcoe County, Ont., residents recently met with members of provincial parliament to press their case for the urgent need for meaningful protection of the pure water that springs from the Simcoe Uplands Moraine in Tiny Township.

Worried about water quality, Nfld. town hires consultant

The Town of Pasadena in Newfoundland and Labrador is taking steps to address concerns about the quality of its drinking water, as the community grapples with levels of trihalomethanes, or THMs, that well exceed Health Canada's guidelines. CBC News reports.
