Federal budget provides funding for Canada Water Agency, green home retrofits and understanding climate change

The federal budget proposes to provide $17.6 billion towards a sustainable recovery to create jobs, build a clean economy and fight and protect against climate change, including $4.4 billion to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to help homeowners complete home retrofits through interest-free loans worth up to $40,000 beginning in summer 2021.
