The 2022 Heli-Expo was a success, and it was great to get back after 2 long years! Even with a slightly smaller attendance it was great to see that people were more eager than ever to get back to business.
It was also big moment for Advanced Composite Structures (ACS) in sharing the news of the acquisition of ACS by United Aero Group (UAG) and the signing of the Definitive Agreement. The agreement sees the stewardship of the Company being handed over from the founder Bruce Anning to Jamie and Josh Gelder and the UAG Team. The opportunity to work collaboratively with UAG is truly exciting!
For ACS, 2022 marks the 34th year of being in business, supporting a broad range of global customers. In Q2 of 2022, ACS is scheduled to have its new location in Brisbane, Australia fully operational and providing repair services to helicopter operators in the Australia and South-Easy Asia markets. The new Brisbane location will be the fourth ACS repair centre, making ACS the largest independent rotor blade repair provider.
With the new acquisition, UAG and ACS will be a formidable force in the world of helicopter support where we always put the customer first.
