Airbus Helicopters at Heli-Expo 2019 unveils a new version of its H145 light twin-engine helicopter, based on a five-bladed rotor. Leveraging the simplicity of a bearingless main rotor design, the new H145 increases its useful load by 150 kg. EASA certification is planned for early 2020.

Sikorsky announces plans for its S-92 helicopter line that will re-designate fielded helicopters as the S-92A+ after modification, and newly produced aircraft as the S-92B. Availability is set for 2022 and the company plans to have a S-92B price target below historical S-92 prices.
