Washington state hatcheries facing budget cuts

State-run hatcheries in Washington state are facing budget reductions as the state’s Office of Financial Management announced it is anticipating a $9-billion deficit in revenues over the next three years.


Invasive mudsnail found at Montana hatchery

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has detected the invasive New Zealand mudsnails at the Blue Fish Hatchery, a first for the state-run hatchery.
