Terrestrial plants as alternative protein source for juvenile turbot diet

In an experiment on juvenile turbot, all diets showed similar growth performance. Two experimental diets had fishmeal contained in control replaced with either 20 per cent terrestrial plant proteins (PLANT) and processed animal proteins (PAP). Feed performance was significantly reduced in the PAP group.

Ukraine hatcheries continue ecological efforts despite the war

Several thousands of sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) fry have been released into the Dniester River in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Environmental Ministry said. This is the first time the Ukrainian hatcheries resumed since Russia’s invasion on Feb. 24.
