The Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries announced on Oct. 9 that it is granting Benchmark Genetics Norway two new broodstock licenses. According to Benchmark Genetics, the 360 tons for production in the sea and 420 tons on land in Benchmark Genetics Salten will fortify the supply chain and meet the growing demand for salmon eggs.
