Algae-based feed boosts salmon nutrition, Nofima study

A Nofima project on testing algae levels in feed and its effect on fish has shown positive results. The Millennial Salmon project, funded by the Research Council of Norway, MOWI, Labyerie fine foods, Cargill, Corbion, Innovafeed, and Auchan, was done to determine how much of an algae-based product could be included in a salmon pellet. 


Research underway to restore endangered Inner Bay of Fundy salmon
