The #1 Mistake Contractors are Making Today When Quoting
|
|
Here are 3 questions all contractors should ask themselves before quoting on a job:
1. Do I know how much to quote to ensure that I am profitable?
2. Do I know how to adjust my pricing based upon the cycles of my business?
3. Do I know what my margins need to be when quoting?
If you have said "no" to any of the questions above then you are currently "pricing for poverty." Don’t forget: your numbers matter. They are the language of your business. Sadly, too many contractors work hard throughout the year not knowing whether they’ll be turning a profit or not!
