The Ampex Insulated PEX Panel by Amvic Building System is designed for cost effective installation of hydronic radiant under-concrete heating systems. The Ampex panel is a combination of expanded polystyrene molded to a high impact polystyrene film for slab-on-grade and below-grade hydronic heating applications.
The innovative panel design facilitates an easy walk-in installation of the PEX tubing, eliminating the use of staples and ties. This lock and hold design also ensures that the tubing is completely encased in concrete allowing for better heat distribution and efficient energy transfer.
