During 2019 Patterson-Kelley will introduce its first condensing commercial boiler with 10:1 turndown capability. The MACH^® aluminum commercial boiler featuring 10:1 turndown will be presented at the 2019 AHR Expo.

Patterson-Kelley has put system efficiency at the forefront of their boiler offering. By limiting turndown to 5:1, Patterson-Kelley can maintain the dewpoint as high as possible, which allows for greater condensation and higher efficiency. Aggressive turndowns typically lower the dewpoint, which reduces condensation. However, in an application where the system is sized at a higher capacity than required, higher turndown, like 10:1, can accommodate the imbalance by turning down the input to match the required load.
