Join us for Part 2 of our Road To 2030 webinar series.

The 2030 Emission Reduction Plan issued by the Government of Canada earlier this year outlines an ambitious goal of reducing carbon emissions across the country by 40% (from 2005 levels) by 2030.

The Plan introduces the Canada Green Buildings Strategy, an initiative that will include new policy, programs, incentives, and standards.

In this panel discussion we will discuss how existing incentive programs like the Greener Homes Grant and Loan initiatives are driving the movement toward decarbonization/electrification for home owners, and we’ll hear how larger commercial projects are also being helped along by incentives from utilities and different levels of government.

And finally you’ll learn how contractors can encourage participation and also benefit from these programs.

Our panelists include:
Ruth Talbot, Greener Homes Division, NRCan
Jesse Fleming, Climate Change Branch, Environment and Climate Change Canada
Martin Luymes, HRAI
Steve Cornelius, Mitsubishi Electric Sales Canada
