Christy is an engineer with 20 years of experience in design, manufacturing, and international business development in Fortune 500 aerospace and automotive companies. Today, she applies that experience at Canada’s Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster, where she has a passion for helping companies to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies.

Dr. Vlasea is an assistant professor at the University of Waterloo and the research co-director of the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Laboratory. In recognition of her scholarly work, student mentorship, and industry outreach, she was recognised as the SME 20 Most Influential Academics in 2021 and as the SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer in 2020. She is serving as the SME Additive Manufacturing Technical Community Advisor.

Jon leads clients through the entire digital transformation lifecycle at his vendor-neutral consulting firm, including: technology architecture and planning, technology vendor selection, technology procurement, implementation, and ongoing optimization. This includes integrating ERP with the edge using analytics, manufacturing execution, quality, supply chain, logistics, and other such systems.

Humera is CEO of Canvass AI, which empowers the world’s largest industrial companies with actionable intelligence to make data-driven operational decisions. She is a recipient of the RBC Women of Influence Entrepreneur of the Year award, the Women of IoT/M2M award and was most recently named in the list of Top 10 Hot AI IoT Startups to Watch.

Jim works with companies in robotics, automation, manufacturing, packaging and capital equipment on branding, marketing and search engine strategies. He attended the University of Western Ontario and is based in Cambridge, Ont.
